I am trying to create a platform for my latest book "There Is An Urgency" about child abuse and my experiences as a teacher and you've just deflated my momentum. But, it is cool that you're doing this. Expect many more posts on this blog from me. I could use the help. The goofball who created this site wants everyone to know the difference between "ex<b>e</b>rcising" and "ex<b>o</b>rcising." <br /><br />Check out the following from Beliefnet.com regarding exorcism or exorcising: "The word comes from a Greek term meaning 'to pray or ask deeply,' and originally it had nothing to do with expelling demons. Jesus himself is 'exorcised'--asked to do something--twice in the New Testament, once by the high priest (Matthew 26:63) and once by the Gerasene demoniac (Luke 8:26-40). In the early Christian church, however, this term came to mean the practice of casting out evil spirits."<br /><br />Exercising with an "e" is the wrong usage, even though the word "exercise" has several meanings. According to dictionary.com, "exercise" with an "e" comes from a Latin word meaning "to train."
